About Me

My name is Sheri Higgs. I am a secondary Mathematics and Science teacher at a small rural school in the panhandle of Texas. I have just completed my fifteenth year as an educator. My previous background in the private sector includes working as a Business/Research Analyst for major retailers. In this position I was responsible for training home office, regional, district and store personnel in the use of technology in performing their day-to-day tasks and reporting. The M.Ed. program has allowed me to combine two of my major interests, technology and education, into a coherent “package”.

E-Portfolio's Purpose

The purpose of my e-portfolio is to provide a vehicle to document tasks and assignments completed during the coursework for the M.Ed. degree. This e-portfolio also demonstrates my growth and development throughout the program in my journey to become an Educational Technology professional.

E-Portfolio's Organization

The e-portfolio's organization allows the user to navigate through the main pages. These pages include personal details and credentials required by the educational technology program. Links to all the pages are provided in the menu bar at the top of each page.

Featured projects, as well as their artifact reports are accessible through links on the “Matrix" page. Information and projects for each course completed during my time in the program can be access through links on the “Courses Taken” page.
